SS-31, also known as Elamipretide or Bendavia, is a synthetic tetrapeptide. With a molecular weight of 639.83 g/mol and a sequence of H-DArg-Tyr(2,6-diMe)-Lys-Phe-NH2, SS-31 has been highlighted for its potential to improve mitochondrial respiration and reduce oxidative stress.
